Meet Our TEAM

Carly Zick, Advisor

Mrs. Zick has been teaching in Lodi for 10 years! She lives in Lodi with her husband and her two sons. Together they enjoy spending time on Lake Wisconsin. During the summer months, you can find Mrs. Zick out on the golf course giving her best effort each time she tries to golf! Mrs. Zick LOVES coffee! Her favorite season is Fall! You can find her out on the Ice Age Trail hiking with our Saunters program, too! Mrs. Zick's favorite thing about teaching at OSC is listening to her OSC students work together in a small group and collaborate with one another! Occasionally you might even find her with students in the OSC workshop running a drill!

Grace Lee, Advisor

I'm Ms. Lee, and I've only been teaching since September of 2020! I really love being outside, hiking, kayaking, and exploring. I also love to read books (and have been known to stay up way past my bedtime to finish them!), drink coffee, and cook! A fun fact is that I actually went to elementary school at LES, and my classroom was in the OSC space! It has been so fun to think back on those memories, and to make new ones, too. While being a new teacher can definitely be an interesting ride, having an amazing team to support me, guide me, and laugh with me has been more than I could ask for. My favorite thing about OSC so far has been seeing the interactions between the different grades, and how they all work with each other! They teach me new things all the time, especially through their projects!

Allie Stone, Advisor

Greetings, I am Mrs. Stone! I'm so glad you have stopped by to learn more about OSC!  I've had the privilege of teaching well over a decade in Lodi and I am one of the founding OSC advisors.  My family and I live just outside of Lodi on a fun hobby farm, Prairie Winds.  Mr. Stone and I have four children that also go to school in Lodi.  All of us love animals, plants, spending time outside, and camping as much as possible!  We also love exploring and going on adventures whenever we can!  Our favorite destination is going to South Carolina!  I look forward to starting each morning with students while enjoying a freshly brewed cup of coffee.  THE BEST!  Finally, my favorite part of OSC, although there are many, is the community we build together.  We are a community that takes care of each other and strives everyday to make a difference!  Thanks again for stopping by!

Grace Schirra, Advisor

Mrs. Schirra has been living and teaching in Lodi since 2008! Mr. Schirra teaches in the Lodi Middle School as the Technology and STEAM teacher. Their daughters, Greta and Alice, keep them very busy with school, sports, and family fun. As a family they enjoy visiting family near and far, swimming, and working on various projects around their home. Mrs. Schirra enjoys gardening and reading a new novel any chance she gets. Her favorite thing about OSC is getting to know the students and families over the three years that she is lucky enough to be a part of their lives. The relationships that are built during that time is one of the proudest highlights of her year.

Hello, my name is Abbey Ballweg.  I have been teaching for 16 years total, but 8 of those years in Lodi.   My family lives in the Sauk Prairie School District and my three kids keep me incredibly busy with a variety of activities.  If I get any free time I love to read, go for walks, swim, and play games with my family.  I was blessed to be able to join the OSC team last year (2022) and I've loved getting to know all of the students!  My favorite thing about OSC is making connections with all of the students and building relationships with them.  OSC is a great place to be!
