We are excited to announce that the track project, which was approved as part of the 2022 referendum, will be beginning tomorrow, June 1. Please note that this project will be on-going through the summer and is scheduled to finish in mid-September (this schedule is dependent on the weather cooperating).
As the safety and security of our students, staff, and community members are our number one priority, we wanted to make all stakeholders aware of the following:

The track will be closed throughout the construction process. There will be lags in the work on the track as they are curing times required of the asphalt and track surface and it might be tempting to enter the construction site. For your safety we ask that everyone stay off the track through these times until the project is completed.

The walking path between the middle school and high school will be closed during the construction process.

The sidewalk on the track side of Sauk Street will be closed throughout the construction process.

We ask drivers to be aware of increased construction traffic on Sauk Street throughout the duration of the project.
We are thrilled that we are able to start this project on time and are looking forward to its completion in time for the 2023-24 track season.
